Its me again, back with some more recommendations for the Christmas season, this time of the chocolate variety! Before the January health kick begins, it’s time to treat yourself. So get ready for the festivities and indulge in some delicious chocolate from one of the best in the sweet treat business – Hotel Chocolat!
Here is a round-up of some of my favourite Hotel Chocolat goodies to get you through those cold winter mornings in December.
True to it’s name, the The Everything Sleekster Chocolate Gift Box (£22.50) box has everything! From Champagne Truffles to Caramel Cheesecake, made up of 27 individual chocolates, this is the most popular choice from Hotel Chocolat with an indulgent range of treats to keep your mornings interesting.
This calendar is apparently meant for sharing, but if you happen to eat both chocolates behind each door, I won’t tell anyone! Filled with 48 festive truffles, with the Chocolate Advent Calendar for two (£26) you can share some gingerbread pralines and salted caramel creams with someone you love or keep them both to yourself, either way this calendar will definitely have you in a festive mood for the rest of the day.
Now for a traditional advent calendar with a twist – The Milk Chocolate Advent Calendar – £12.50. Behind each door is a delicious 40% milk Christmas character, and a witty quote from the likes of Willy Wonka and Dickens from Hotel Chocolat’s book ‘The Meaning of Chocolate’. This is unlike the ones you had as a child though, with generous size chocolates, hide this one from the kids!
Saving the best till last, a Christmas Day Showstopper! With 40 chocolates inside including an ‘Award Winning Treacle Tart,’ and two solid chocolate snowflakes beautifully arranged into the shape of a festive wreath, The Wreath Box (£40) is one to share and enjoy all through the Christmas period.
All of these delicious chocolate gifts are available online and in-store, ready waiting for you! I hope you have an indulgent countdown to Christmas and I’ll be posting lots more festive posts soon my loves, so keep an eye out for them!
Until then, all my love,
