So as it is nearly the end of March, I thought I would update you on what I have been getting up to over the last couple of weeks, and I hope you lot enjoy this post as much as I have enjoyed writing it.
DD BEAUTY PRODUCTS
I met up with a lovely lady called Liz Chamberlayne who has created her own home made beauty products called Diamond Derma. I have been addicted to the Grapefruit cleanser, the citrus fruit cocktail youth serum and the citrus fruit cocktail youth moisture cream. My skin is lovely and smells gorgeous.
You can find more about DD products on www.diamondderma.com
I have always been intrigued by the Slendertone belts. The abdominal electronic toning belt. I was staying at my friends, Steven and Toby’s home and Steven had one aforementioned belt’s. (Toby, incidentally runs a wonderful choir group called The Caravanettes. You should check them out. Lovely ladies!)
I digress, anyway, Steven couldn’t recommend it highly enough and I have one now. I will keep you updated on my progress. Loving the squeezing of the abs! I am still working out though. I am not using my belt as an excuse just a boost!!
L’ESCARGO and THIERRY ALEXANDRE
L’Escargo is London’s oldest and most celebrated French Restaurant and club. I had to try a plate of snails. Would be rude not to after all. They were so delicious.
My friend and Life Artiste, Thierry put on wonderful extravaganza over a few floors of the club. There was music, performers, artists and a spoken word room, which I was hosting. An amazing night was had by all. I spent most of the evening with a snake draped around my neck. A real one, not an ex!
I spent rather too much time at the Moomin store in Covent Garden. I am a huge fan. I think I embarrassed my teenage daughter when I asked for a selfie with the Moomin at the door.
I have recently discovered that a stamp was made with my face on it in The Ivory Coast. Never been and have no idea what that’s all about but it’s blooming funny.
My daughter and I have a new favorite game. Speak Out. You put a plastic contraption in your mouth which holds it open wide, a bit like being at the dentist. You then have to read a sentence from a card to your opponent and see if they can figure out what you are saying. Very very funny, if a bit dribbly. We have labeled our own mouthpieces. Hygiene and all!
I was sent a lovely box of goodies from Rude Health, a London-based company that produce amazingly lovely healthy food. They use clean ingredients, no refined sugars, nothing artificial and non GM. I have Almond Milk, Coconut and Chia granola, hazelnut butter and cacao porridge, gorgeous snack bars to name but a few of my goodies. They have a café on 212 New Kings Road, London. Definitely on my list of new places to go for breakfast very very soon.
I hope all is good with you all and we’ll speak soon…… much love. Me xxxx
