Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month with these Pink Products!

October 27, 2016

Hey all! October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month which means that girls – don’t be afraid to have a good feel of your knockers and check for any unusual lumps or bumps. One of the most enjoyable ways to raise awareness is to buy Pink Products. These are special limited edition beauty goodies which donate the proceeds to breast cancer research. Here are my favourite Pink Products!

Elemis Breast Cancer Hero Collection – £55

This is a goorgeous collection which includes Pink editions of the Pro-Collagen Neck and Decollete Balm, Frangipani Monoi Body Oil (this smells amazing), Pro-Collagen Marine Cream and Cellular Recovery Skin Bliss Capsules. PLUS you get a pink bag to put them all in! So handy if you’re travelling back and forth like me. I’m usually awful with remembering to use any cream on my skin, but the Pro-Collagen Marine Cream has been worth me remembering! It’s supposed to reduce the depth of wrinkles, improve skin firmness, tone and hydration in 15 days, so fingers crossed it helps me a wee bit too.

Research unveiled recently by The Estée Lauder Companies UK & Ireland reveals that 78% of women affected by breast cancer say that their outlook on life has changed following their diagnosis, which is such a huge statistic. A further 72% of women who are currently being treated for breast cancer, or have survived breast cancer treatment, say that there are positive aspects to come from their experience with breast cancer. This research is being published to coincide with the launch of The Estée Lauder Companies’ 2016 Breast Cancer Awareness (BCA) Campaign. The BCA Campaign supports the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) by raising awareness and funding for its research grant-making programme, which advances the most promising, innovative breast cancer research worldwide. This year, BCRF has invested nearly £1 million in UK research, with over £7.5 million raised to date since The BCA Campaign began, which is incredible!

With all the extra fitness stuff I’ve been doing recently this is the perfect Pink product for me! It’s also great that it’s natural, as it doesn’t contain any aluminium, and is clinically proven to have 24 hour protection. It also smells so fresh which is exactly what you want when you work out.

I love the fact that this set it anti-bacterial. It saves me worrying about harmful bacteria that might get their paws on my face! The brushes themselves are SO soft, like stroking your face with feathers kinda soft, and it’s also amazing that they’re cruelty-free.

Origins Linited Edition BCA Drink Up Intensive Overnight Mask – £24

This toothbrush is great and best of all it’s pink (including the stand and the cable!) which is really cool. The toothbrush itself is uses oscillating technology with 8,800 rotations per minute to remove plaque and promote healthy teeth and gums. It’s a great price at just £24.99, and for every brush sold £2.50 is donated to The Pink Ribbon Foundation.

Jo Malone Red Roses Cologne – £86 for 100ml

A wee bit pricey but Jo Malone are donating £20 from every sale of this perfume to the Breast Cancer Awareness Foundation; so it’s completely worth the extra splurge! It smells like a huge bunch of roses, you expect amazing quality from Jo Malone; the scent really is above and beyond your nan’s old rose perfume. Really lovely.

Pink Ribbon Classic Jar Candle – £12

This candle smells like strawberry Starbursts and I love it. Flamingo Candles are hand-poured in the UK and made using natural soy wax.  I can’t wait to get this burning whilst I have a relaxing bubble bath!
