Hello my lovelies,
This month, after reading lots in the news about the nasty chemicals that can be found in our tap water, I decided that it was time for me to buy a filtered water bottle! Sometimes, the tap water that we drink can contain chemicals and minerals that are not very good for us, such as chlorine, fluoride, bacteria and metals.
After spending a while researching the best filtered water bottles, I came across the BIOCERA A.H.A. The bottle not only adds antioxidants and makes the water hydrogen-rich, but it also balances the pH by increasing alkalinity. This is surprisingly important as the body has a natural PH of around 7, this is the level that the body works most efficiently, and when we eat or drink too many acidic things it can take our bodies out of balance. Drinking alkaline water is amazing as it helps to neutralise acid in the bloodstream, which leads to increased oxygen levels and improved energy and metabolism.
The bottle also reduces the size of the water molecules to ensure that it gets absorbed better in your body, hydrating you at a faster rate than normal water! All of these incredible things are done by the little ceramic balls found in its filter, these release hydrogen, calcium, magnesium, potassium, and other beneficial minerals into the water. However, do not be put off by the idea of ceramic, as they are totally safe and are completely certified for safety by the NSF.
I have been using the bottle for a little over a month now and am really enjoying it! I have noticed myself drinking a lot more water, which is great because I feel like I am always so dehydrated! I think it is so important to drink lots of water, especially with the weather being so cold at the moment. The NHS recommends that we drink 6 to 8 cups a day, which I think is manageable if you always have a bottle on you! Drinking lots of water helps to keep us feeling energised and flushes our body of toxins, so it’s pretty important. I honestly couldn’t recommend the BIOCERA A.H.A bottle anymore, it is lightweight, easy to carry around and does amazing things to tap water!
Hope you all have a lovely rest of the week and don’t forget to drink lots of water!
Love, Gail xxxx
