Hi lovelies,
Gosh it’s that time of year, I can’t believe it’s Christmas! This year I decided I wanted to give back to disadvantaged families… and with the help of some truly generous brands, this was made possible.
I set about to get together some Christmas gift donations to go to children who otherwise may not get any presents, especially after the very difficult year that’s been 2020.
The response from the brands I reached out to was overwhelmingly amazing. I want to give a huge thank you to each and everyone of my very own Santa’s elves for working with me to bring some joy to these families and children who need it most this Christmas.
In this blog I will be shouting out these generous companies, it was so lovely to see so many people willing to donate, with all the struggles of this year.
Chocolate at Christmas is always key, this vital ingredient was added by Play in Choc. They were very generous donating so many of their organic chocolates that come with a 3D puzzle & fun facts card to play with.
It was so great to include this wonderful brand for the little boys, Build Your Own, who donated some amazing microscopes and telescopes, which will be incredible to inspire and engage their young imaginations.
Small family-run clothing brand, Glencroft donated jumpers made using 100% British wool, as well as flat caps handwoven on the Outer Herbrides. Glencroft makes sustainable British-made clothing and accessories from natural products including sheepskin, wool and Harris Tweed.
The very cool and trendy hair care brand Got2be kindly sent a range of different hair sprays, oils and gels, which I know will go down a treat on Christmas morning!
I was blown away with the incredibly generous donation from the Bodyshop who sent a huge amount of beautiful Christmas gift sets full of lovely goodies.
Something different and very special was the generous donation by Star Name Registry of loads of Name a Star Gift Tins. Where recipients can personalise a star by choosing the star name, date and a personal message. I know so many children will love these.
MojiPops added some fun into Christmas with their incredibly generous donation of their super cute collectable characters. So many little ones will be so please to be opening their MojiPops on Christmas morning to see which ones they’ve got.
My Little Piccolo were incredibly kind, sending a huge variety of baby food pouches, porridge, snacks for older kids and more. This will mean so much to families during this time.
We all know how important masks are right now, so having a donation from AirPop was just perfect. AirPop were thoughtful enough to send a variation of different coloured kid’s masks.
I am a big fan of Beauty Kitchen, a cruelty free and sustainable brand who were so kind to send lip balms, baby bath bombs, Lip Balm Inventor Kits & reusable water bottles.
Not to mention the amazing Nailsinc , who will make a girly girl’s Christmas with their fabulous donations of gorgeous nail varnish sets and accessories.
Yardley London sent some lovely Christmas treats of fragrance sets for both boys and girls, new perfumes at Christmas are always a welcome gift!
Dr.PAWPAW donated their festive Christmas tree lip balm gift sets, which are not only good for lips but also for dry or irritated skin, even eczema. Their products are also cruelty free, ethically sourced, vegan and recyclable.
Providing all the Christmas classics, was the amazing Winning Moves, who were so generous, giving tom trumps, board games and puzzles. They have loads of twists on the old-school games, from dinosaur themed to Marvel, everyone will pleased.
I can’t thank SuperThings enough, who kindly donated loads of their little collectible characters, perfect for children to lose themselves in their own imagination during playtime!
Scarlet Ocean really warmed my heart, they were kind enough to donate some of their lovely necklaces, making some young girls feel very special on Christmas Day.
Skates.co.uk may have ignited the passion in the next generation Tony Hawk with their great gift of one of their limited-edition skateboards.
The best-selling range of sun and sleep shades in the UK; Snooze Shades, kindly donated their sunshades, which will be so useful for mums and their restless babies.
I also want to give a big shout out to our very own Santa on wheels, the lovely GLH who happily gave their time to collect and move all the donations.
Thank you again to all the wonderful brands for your generosity, I am so happy we were able to do this especially after this tough year.
Wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas and a brighter and better 2021.
Love,
