I’m back!

October 6, 2016

Hi everyone! Who remembers me? Well, I am back and more motivated than ever!

I have been super busy writing my book and doing my hair, so it was impossible for me to keep my blog updated consistently. I’ve not updated my blog in a year now and whilst at home with my cat on my lap and waiting for my daughter to finish school, I’ve been jotting down lots of squiggly notes with new plans for

It’s nearly the end of 2016 and I feel absolutely amazing. We are 6 days into October already and I have so many plans for this month right up until Christmas. I want to share it all with you… the people who follow me, accept me for who I am and are some of the nicest people on the planet. If only I could invite you all round for peppermint tea and a good wee chat…

Here’s what I’ve got planned for this month and what you can expect to read about!

Notepad, laptop and coffee cup on wood table. View from aboveStoptober and Sober October

Stoptober and Sober October is all about giving up the bad boys called cigarettes and alcohol. The Macmillan Cancer charity is running the campaign and is challenging everyone to not smoke or drink for all of October; whilst being sponsored by people to do so to raise money for the charity. These kinds of charities have a big place in my heart, so I am fully backing this campaign from start to finish.

One of my dearest friends is going to be having a Hypnotherapy session to help her with the challenge of not smoking or drinking for another 24 days. I’m excited to see how that goes for her and will be sure to update you on it too.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Breasts. Boobs. Tits. Whatever you want to call them ladies; we all have them. I’ve had more than enough though and am feeling about 100 times more happier since I had my boob job to reduce their watermelon-esque size. I now feel a million times more confident with my boobs and it’s actually so fun being able to hit the high street and shop for bras that actually have my size out on the shop floor. It was always a struggle for me to find bras that fit me so this is why I have decided to support one of the most important months of the year.

I love makeup and hair products (haha, I joke – but you have to have a light humour when you’re me) so I am really excited to try out some beauty products this month that have proceeds going to Breast Cancer Awareness charities. I’ll be sure to talk about my favourites and recommendations too. I’m so excited to get started!

HALLOWEEN! I LOVE Halloween. So does my daughter. We love to dress up together and decorate our house in spooky decor simply for just the two of us. We tell eachother spooky stories, eat pizza in our scary costumes and stuff our faces with jelly eyeball sweets. So simple but so fun!

I’m really looking forward to experimenting with Halloween makeup looks and have already been brainstorming different spooky and estranged makeup looks on Pinterest.  I’d love to see what looks you’re going for this year so do tweet me your costume and makeup ideas!

You can take the girl out of Scotland…

I’m returning home to my home city of Edinburgh, Scotland for the first time in a LONG time. I have lived in London for years so it will be so nice to go back home and re-visit old faces and familiar areas that I grew up in. Of course, I’ll be sure to update my blog on all my Scottish travels.

That’s about it for now but I’m sure there will be other things I need to squeeze in my diary for this month!

I’m so excited to try new things and share it all with you! If you have ideas for any blog posts that I can write then do leave your ideas/requests below.

Until the next time though… (and it definitely won’t be a year later!)
