Did You See Me In The Daily Mail With VIVACY?

November 8, 2019

Hey guys,

How are you? Hope you are all having lots of spooky fun over the Halloween period, you know this is my favourite time of year!

In case you hadn’t already seen, I was recently featured in the Mail Online about a new treatment I had so I thought I’d pop on here and share it with you lovely lot as well.

As many of you may know, I’ve never had any Botox, fillers or surgery on my face. However, a combination of drinking through straws, genetics and being extremely expressive has led to me having lipstick lines above my mouth.  Although I’m getting older, I do like to look after myself – I like my exercise, but I’m out a lot, I spend a lot of time in Scotland and a lot of times on trains, and my skin sometimes just seems to suffer quite badly. I began to notice that my top lip was getting a bit line-y so, in the lead up to the big 5-0 (yikes!) I thought now was as good of a time as any to take care of the little lines I had developed over the years.

Seeing as this would be my first ever experience with anything invasive on my face, it’s safe to say I was a wee bit nervous. I knew that I didn’t want any fillers that would change the shape of my lips, but I was introduced to VIVACY and I am still blown away by the difference the treatment has made. VIVACY offer natural-looking treatments for lip volume, lipstick (smokers) lines, crow’s feet, hand rejuvenation, frown-lines, cheek enhancement, dark circles, chin remodelling, jawline definition and nose correction to name just a few. What I love most is that they focus on creating what they call the ‘French Look’ – soft, chic and elegant beauty, which is exactly the look I was after.

The treatment itself was quick and painless. I had Stylage filler – dubbed the ‘chic’ filler, which aims to enhance natural beauty with subtle changes – courtesy of Professor Syed Haq at his London Harley Street clinic Invictus Humanus. Professor Haq was amazing, it was painless – you felt the needle go in, but I’ve had quite a lot of tattoos and piercings, so it wasn’t too bad for me. It’s incredible how such a simple treatment can make a world of difference, I think it took 20 minutes,(maybe half an hour) and it made such a difference. I went straight to a job right afterwards, it wasn’t red, you wouldn’t have noticed, apart from the lines had gone! There is absolutely no down-time or after care and the results last up to 18 months.

If you haven’t already, be sure to check out the piece in Femail and head over to Dr Haq’s website for more information.
