My Top Skincare Picks: August 2018

August 22, 2018

Hello my lovelies, I hope you’ve all enjoyed the last of the heatwave. It seems we’ve now been plunged into Autumn almost over night so I’m going to show you what products I’ve been using to save my skin  as we venture into the colder weeks.

Amplify-4-oz (1)

As the heatwave is no more and my natural tan is wearing off I’ve been trying to keep up with a bit of help from a bottle. Amplify Ph Equalizer by Norvell is a multi-purpose spray which is filled with Hyaluronic acid to give my skin a little bit of TLC. It injects a bit of hydration in a quick spritz and can even be used with make-up and false tan to keep you bronzed and for just a little longer.

The dry, hot weather has left my lips chapped and in need of some attention. But this HELLO JO lip mask has brought them back to life in just a matter of minutes – what could be better?! I just massage it into my lips and wait for it to do its magic. It’ll turn from a gel to a foam and is packed with  Vitamins A and C which breaks down dead skin cells and washes them away. Who’d have thought it eh!

Despite the tattoos, needles are not my favourite thing but when I saw this needle-free, pain-free dermo-cosmetic filler to use in the comfort of my own home, I just HAD to give it a try. In the Fillerina neck the kit there’s two little bottles ‘of ‘filler effect’ and firming cream. It also comes with ‘syringes’ for application –  but not a needle in sight! You get 14 doses in these little bottles and it’s suitable for all skin-types. I feel 10 years younger after just one application.

The older I’ve become the more  I care about having a fool-proof  skincare routine. I don’t have time to be messing around after a tough gym session for a ten-step routine. Now, I use bea products. Their brightening cleanser is easy and effective to use and gets every scrap of make-up off my face as it contains kolic acid and mandelic acid to cleanse and firm at the same time. it works even better in conjunction with the serum and as it’s only 50ml it can accompany me on my holidays!

What are your favourite skincare products right now? Let me know!

Love, Gail xx
